The artist paints his face with the colors of the Italian flag — a gesture of collective belonging performed in public rituals. Once complete, he begins to erase it by hand, distorting both image and face until the colors collapse into a single dark tone.

The only sound is the amplified friction of skin against skin. What begins as identification ends in its undoing — not through refusal, but through the internal logic of the gesture carried to its physical limit.
